Established in 1965 by Rodney Rudge with one vehicle we progressed to a Limited company in 1975 with Rodney and his wife Jean as directors. Son Christopher joined the company in 1981 and after learning all aspects of the business has now been appointed Fleet Engineer. He has an excellent track record in the in-house maintenance and repair of our fleet. Mrs. Marion Healey also joined the company in 1981 and is responsible for the office administration.

All areas of the U.K. are covered by our operation and our fleet of flat and curtainsided trailers enables us to transport most commodities. The movement of paper, both waste and finished goods is a large part of our operation and of course we hold our own 'Waste Regulation Certificate'.

Whilst the majority of our customers require the larger part of the trailer capacity, we are, in most instances, able to accommodate small/medium additional deliveries at competitive prices.

All our fully qualified drivers are supplied with mobile telephones which enables our company motto of
'ALWAYS KEEP THE CUSTOMER INFORMED'

Both Rodney & Christopher hold CPC certification and make themselves available at all times to offer help and advice. Membership of The Road Haulage Association has been long standing.

The traffic office is manned between the hours of 8.3Oam and 5.45 pm. Monday to Friday and 8.30 am. to 1.00 pm Saturday, with Rodney, Christopher and Marion always available via mobile telephone.
